The world of private wealth management is undergoing fundamental changes. Asset management firms are now structured around increasingly complex organisational charts to offer their clients an unprecedented array of services often at the expense of clients.

Procedures are standardised in the name of cost reduction and profitability while decision-making is often centralised at locations far removed from the relationship managers who actually make efforts to understand their clients, satisfy their needs and protect their long-term interests.

Traditionally, families and individuals have turned to several disconnected sources - banks, investment advisors, trust companies, and other financial service providers - for assistance with various aspects of wealth management.

Everyone quickly realises, however, that there are two problems with this approach. First, no single person or firm is charged with the overall responsibility for coordinating the client's entire wealth management plan for the long-term. Second, banks, investment advisors and trust companies are more interested in the lucrative investment management business, and thus concentrate on gathering assets to ensure that their efforts generate fee-based services rather than servicing their clients' needs. The more assets you have with them, the more you are under their control on their terms. These problems can result in conflicted, isolated advice that is not tailored to the unique goals and objectives of each individual client but to the bottom line of the disconnected sources, thus, incurring, unnecessary time, wasted resources and expenses for the clients. In addition, the services provided by such sources are vested in the interests of the employees meeting management goals and performance at the expense of clients.

In contrast, we provide a different environment based on those values which we share. Network Services was originally set up by one family to manage its assets within the Family Holding Company in a more flexible and efficient manner, to preserve its hard-earned assets.
